About The Attraction

Massada, Masada, Israel

2 Days

English, French, Hebrew, Italian, Other, Russian, Spanish

Sign up and join the adventurous travelers at Arlozorov station in Tel Aviv for a start on the go!

What if we left our daily life to have a desert adventure in the heart of the promised land?

Fill your backpack with a flashlight, water bottle, closed shoes, notebook, marshmallows, guitar and hit the road in the direction of the Dead Sea.

First Stop: Bedouin Hospitality and Camel Ride

Discover the Bedouin culture!

Sit with the tribal chief who has come to tell you about his way of life, his culture, and Bedouin hospitality. If you pay enough attention, you'll see him fashion his succulent Turkish coffee and his famous mint tea right under your eyes.

Once satiated, climb on a camel for a ride in the middle of the desert.

Second stop: Bedouin camp

After a well-deserved dinner, join your friends around a campfire, guitar in hand! It's time to get out your songbook to bring out the classics. Do not hesitate to go all out, nobody will hear you from 20km round!

Third stop: Massada

Wake up at dawn to head for the fortress of Massada. Nothing like a little walk to start this day, reach the remains of King  Herod’s palace and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Dead Sea.

Walk in the footsteps of our ancestors and discover together what happened to this small group of rebel Jews who landed in Massada at the beginning of the Great Revolution against the Romans in 66 CE.

The morning ends with a well-deserved breakfast!

Fourth stop: Walk in the natural springs of Ein Gedi

Fill your bottle, tie your laces and come discover the oasis of Ein Gedi. Follow the compass for it to guide you and start your day with a walk punctuated by the waterfalls.

Walk from one stretch of water to another and stop in front of the magnificent waterfalls and water sources of the site for a well-deserved swim.

Très bonne ambiance chez les bédouins, on a fait de la darbouka dans la grande tente, avec du café turc, à chanter des chansons tous ensemble c’était très sympa! le lendemain le réveil un peu dur pour massada mais la vue en vaut le détour! A faire
